It's certified to be protected from water up to 3 feet for 30 minutes, and it is completely protected against dust. Additional features include selectable units, tare function, and stability, overload, and battery status indications. The scale's convenient tare function is particularly helpful as it allows you to easily weigh products and ingredients while they're still in the container. It can also be field calibrated to ensure accuracy over time.

This scale is a great tool to promote consistent recipes and final products in your kitchen. Designed with food-safe ABS plastic housing and a stainless steel platform, this scale is perfect for long-lasting use. The backlit LCD display provides easy readability and operation. This scale can weigh products up to 11 lb. making it ideal for everything from dry ingredients to meat.

This scale comes equipped with a battery status indicator and it has an auto-off functionality. The auto-off functionality defaults to 2 minutes, but it can be programmed for 5 minutes to provide added flexibility. This scale has a removable 7 1/4" x 6 3/4" weighing platform that's easy to clean. This unit can be operated using the included AC adapter or 4.8V built-in rechargeable battery.
