I have changed out hundreds of these things on our waffle makers. They definitely take some patience (especially the bottom grid). You need to be careful not to tighten the hex nut on the top too much or you will strip it, rendering your waffle maker useless if you ever hope to change them again. There are Old Style grids, and New Style grids. Be sure to get the right one. They are not interchangeable.

Installation was a little difficult, but after we got them installed, they worked pretty good. I am not a huge fan of the waffle maker that they go into though. Non stick surface works well.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT PLATES! I have the Carnival King WBM13DGT. I purchased these plates to replace my old ones because it said in the description that these plates fit WBM models. I tried to install them on my machine and they did not fit. The bottom plate was different than my old plate, as you can see in the photo. After talking to customer service, I realized that there are two different grid styles available from Carnival King, and I purchased the wrong one. Customer service was very helpful and gave me a credit to purchase the correct model and did not ask me to send in the incorrect plates. The plates look great and feel well-made... just make sure you're ordering the right model!!!

For sure worth having on hand! These are sometimes a bit hard to get installed but you should be able to do it fairly quickly. Good to have to keep your waffle iron baking!
