They are definitely universal. They fit all of the brands of containers we have accumulated over the years. However it is a very awkward design. Hard to tell top from bottom. Flip it one way and it fits one manufacturers container, flip it over and it fits another. Seems like every time I use it I have to flip it to fit.
These lids fit perfectly on the stainless steel cold pans and the clear cold pans. I love the fact that the lids are clear and you can easily see what is inside. The spoon slot is perfect so that you can leave the spoon inside the container and place the lid on the cold pan.
