As a 1:1 swap for dairy butter, this product performs flawlessly in cookies, cakes, ganaches, frostings, fillings, curds, and any other baking application calling for butter. You can even use it in savory applications to create vegan sauces and compound butters for your guests to enjoy! Though this plant-based butter can be swapped 1:1 for conventional dairy butter, it uses different fats and thus requires a few tweaks to your preparation techniques. Since it's made with cocoa butter, Tourlami butter performs best between 60 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit to keep it from firming up. From laminating pastries to whipping up buttercream frosting, this product is best used at room temperature. When creaming, melt a quarter of your butter first to achieve a light and fluffy texture! When not in use, this butter can be stored under refrigeration. This product ships frozen, but it is not recommended to refreeze it for long-term storage after delivery.
