I was a little bit nervous about ordering tallow, because I had tried another highly recommended brand before, and it was inedible. But, this tallow lives up to the hype. It's buttery with a mild beefy flavor, no rancidity, and it has a high smoke point. If you cook with animal fat, this should be in your pantry. The bucket is, as are most of its type, a bit hard to open, so having one of those special bucket lid tools is advisable.
