Bossen Brown / Black Sugar Crystal Boba in Syrup 4.4 lb.

These are in NO WAY a replacement for ‘boba’… it’s a horrible dupe that tastes like wax saturated with watery karo syrup brown colored sugar (artificially) ‘flavored’ syrup!!! Definitely a misrepresentation if offered as boba! Purchased 1 bag to try it and threw it all out after i tasted the first straw full! Not appealing whatsoever and would be embarrassed to offer it to anyone as marketed!!

We have used these in our Cold Brew coffee and our iced lattes with brown sugar cinnamon syrup! Our customers are loving them! Thanks for a good product!

Served our purpose, but I agree with other reviewers comments. These are not your typical tapioca boba pearls. But if you need a premade alternative… they work.

Easy alternative to cooking boba when you are in a pinch

We are using this boba for our tea’s and coffee it has a really nice chewy texture. It taste really good with Brown Sugar Cinnamon syrup. It’s a definitely a product that you want to buy more

Was so excited to try them but ended so disappointed. If you are wanting syrup this is perfect for you. I don’t know if our crystals just liquefied in transit or if it just does not carry much crystals in the bag, but I had to use a strainer to collect them. It didn’t even fill a 8oz container with the crystals. It’s just basically 4lbs of liquid. The crystals are so tiny and thin nothing like the image when looking on the website. Completely disappointed in the product.

We use this boba in alot of our teas in it is a costumer favorite. I recommend you pick some up and i give it a 5 star.

Our experience was awful. These taste like gummy balls before the sugar coating. More like a flavorless jelly bean than a tapioca pearl. Do not try to replace tapioca with these. Your customers will definitely know the difference. We threw the entire batch of 5 bags in the trash (can't return). No way am I serving this at any of our events. Daughter who is a huge bubble tea fan couldn't eat them either. Gross.

These black sugar crystal bobas have a nice chewy, jelly-like texture. They are ready to serve. I rinse these before adding them to drinks because the syrup is too sweet. The bobas itself wasn't too sweet at all.

I love the fact that I don’t have to cook them. They are ready to serve to your customers. They taste amazing and they are a great addition to cold drinks.

I like that these boba balls have a good flavor and it’s already pre cooked for you! The only downside of them is that I still have not found a good size straw that they go through without a little struggle. Just keep in mind when or if purchasing straws to go with!

Not as good as Tapioca pearls, they are more jelly like and they are gummy when you chew them. Not what I expected. I prefer Tapioca pearls over these. They are okay of you do not like Tapioca but if you are looking for authentic Tapioca pearls, these are not it, nor are they like popping boba.

I love crystal boba and these crystal boba are the best!!!! No need to cook, they don’t harden after refrigeration and thus no need to microwave when preparing nice milk tea drink!

I am addicted to this texture but it's really hard to describe it because it's different from the regular tapioca bubbles you get at the store. Maybe it's a bit like those lychee jellies you get at the asian market? Anyway, it's a nice alternative to tapioca

Sugar crystal boba is a go to flavor for our ice cream shop. You can add this flavor to almost anything. Some of the other flavors are not as strong as these. The sugar content is pretty strong, so I would suggest using it in a less sweet drink option. This flavor will over power a weaker drink.

I have been looking for a boba alternative for quite some time now just because making real boba is very time consuming and takes some experimenting. This brown/black sugar crystal boba is such a great alternative that looks like boba and has a similar taste. I highly recommend trying this crystal boba. It tastes so great in milk teas.

Out of all the crystal bobas the brown / black sugar crystal boba is my favorite. I really like the chewy texture. It has a nice brown sugar flavor and sweetness.

it would be great with holiday drinks because of the hint of cinnamon flavoring. The flavor reminded me of my childhood. I'll be sure to try this one again on Thanksgiving.
