I have read all of the reviews and typically I don't do reviews but I wanted to share our experience. We are a loose leaf tea company and recently added a boba tea truck to our line up. There are a dozen brands on the market but Bossen is a brand that is well recognized and has very good quality. It took us a few times to master it but we bring the water to a ROLLING boil. Your water has to be rolling before you add boba and I only cook a half bag at a time to prevent them from sticking to each other. I acquired six cases of pearl, each weighing 6.6 lbs on April 15 . However, upon receipt, I was disheartened to discover that all the pearl going expire on july 29 , merely two months after the purchase date. This poses a significant inconvenience and financial burden to my business, as it is unfeasible to utilize such a large quantity within such a short timeframe. When I reached out to webstaurantstore customer service team to address this issue, I was informed that according to policy, products expiring within one month are considered acceptable for sale. While I understand the importance of adhering to policies, I cannot help but feel that this decision disregards the impact it has on loyal customers such as myself. As a small business owner, I rely on suppliers like Bossen to provide quality products that meet industry standards. Unfortunately, the expired pearl I received not only compromises the integrity of my offerings but also reflects poorly on the reputation of your company.

just bought two boxes on January 9, 2024 and received them on the 27th. But it will expire on February 19, 2024. It only has a lifespan of 3 weeks.

We have had bad luck with this brand and end up throwing out more than we keep. We have made numerous batches and very seldom do they turn out good. They are either too hard or stick together like one big glob. We purchase other brands, cook it the same way and do not have this problem.

Bought this for my boba store use. We made sure we followed the instructions to cook it. The boba came out to be very hard and it has a weird, sour taste. Many customers complaints due to this boba and some of them said they won't come back again. I'm so disappointed at this product.

This is really good quality boba. You need to cook it correctly, and it will come out perfect. Those who complain about quality must not know how to cook boba. Mine is always perfect. Step is strain the dry boba before cooking to get rid of the powder and small pieces. Step 2 is wait until the water boils completely, add boba slowly and stir until they're all separated. Then close the lid and stir occasionally. Soak boba for about 20min and rinse. Add sugar and brown sugar. "chef kiss"

Bossen brand tapioca is by far our favorite to cook with. We have found that putting it directly into boiling water works best with all brands, but this one solidifies quickly and efficiently for our fast paced environment. We have tried other brands and they tend to clump and stick to the pot. Our staff demanded we return retun to bossen brand after trying a few other brands.

I love this product however I am very annoyed I ordered a box of it April 8th and it came to me expiring May 9th. I can't use that much in that short of time. I will just get it locally at my Asian grocery store so I don't waste anything.

GREAT PRODUCT BUT… I order tapioca once a week. Almost every single time I receive damaged tapioca. It seldom comes with a packing material and is packed with other heavy items. It’s either crushed, pulverized, wet from other products leaking. The tapioca itself is our preferred brand however I’m unable to use it most of the time due to the damage. This is a chronic problem.

Bossen boba pearls is the best boba that we've tasted. Easy to cook and I love the texture. We'll surely buy again.

So sad. Bought these in end of February closed for covid and now that we’re reopen gearing up for bubble tea. However, these are awful. See pics. The pearls are powder and disintegrated as soon as I put them in the water. See video for what I’m talking about.

I was so disappointed in this product. I attempted to scoop the pearls out to cook them and they disintegrated. I asked for a replacement thinking they may be defective and the next batch was the same. I would NOT buy these.

The products is good. But the expiration date is not. Buyer beware, the items will expires within 1 to 2 months.

Good price and lasts a long time. Only disadvantage is the long cooking time.

These stay the best for hours after you make them! They hold up wonderfully! Only one ill be purchasing from here on.

I loved the quality of the bossen tapioca pearls! The flavor and texture of these pearls worked well for my variety of teas, i prefer the larger tapioca pears to the smaller ones and this one works great! The texture of the tapioca is my favorite out of any brand ive tried!
