Unopened boba should be stored in a completely dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, this package should be stored in an airtight container under refrigeration and the contents should be cooked within 48 hours. Handle the uncooked boba gently to ensure that no pearls are crushed. After cooking, these boba are best when consumed within 4 hours. TAPIOCA PEARL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
100 g raw tapioca pearls
600 mL water
*To prepare the entire 2.2 lb. bag of tapioca pearls, use 1.58 gallons of water
In a large pot, pour in the measured amount of water and bring to a boil. Carefully add the raw tapioca pearls to the water and gently stir for 2 minutes, then turn the heat to medium and cook, without a lid, for 25 minutes. Turn the heat off, remove the pot from the stove, and cover with a tight-fitting lid for 25 more minutes. Next, remove the tapioca pearls from the pot and rinse them thoroughly with cold water in a strainer for 1 to 2 minutes. Finally, in a mixing bowl, stir the prepared tapioca pearls with your desired sweetener (honey, fructose, flavoring syrup, etc.), let sit for 15 minutes, then serve!
