The ties are functional and does the trick to seal my candy bags, however, about 100 of these twist ties came through the hole and they were spilled into the bottom of the box. The way this box is design is a flaw so the customer will loose about 10-20% because of the those holes on both sides of the box. Someone should place tape over those holes because they arrive to you open and exposed to the elements inside the box. Not sanitary at all. Poor box design
