I adore this toaster! It is super heavy duty and the coloring is great. It is the sturdiest toaster I have ever owned. It also does a great job toasting...it toasts evenly on both sides. Love this toaster!

If you are used to a Toastmaster, this toaster is underwhelming. It says Heavy Duty, but it is relatively light weight and as such it slides around on the counter a bit. We use it in a cafe setting where almost every plate gets toast. It seems to have a warm-up period. You have to run it for about 5 minutes before it settles in and toasts adequately. During warm-up, it will consistently pop up untoasted. The "toast/timer" control is very sensitive. The dial goes to 6, but anything over 2 usually burns the toast. Anything below 2 gets no browning. It does fit thick slices, but not wide-pan loaves, so we have to toast half-way and then flip end-for-end to toast the other side of our deli sliced/wide-pan bread (same as a ToastMaster, so it's par for the course). Good toaster, rather heavy duty. It is definitely beneficial to step up to the 208V if you have the access to that power. The unit toasts quickly and evenly. Really happy and a great value!
