This 177S30LID lid assembly is a direct replacement for the part that came standard on your equipment. Use it to replace a broken one quickly and easily. Using a lid with your soup kettle is ideal because it helps to retain the heat of your hot food and reduce energy use. Plus, it helps to ensure that your food stays free of airborne contaminants!
The hinged design of this lid ensures ease of use because there is no need to hold the lid with one hand and serve food with the other. Plus, the lid's handle stays cool to the touch so your staff or guests will not burn their hands! The edge of the lid is notched so that it can accommodate a ladle when the lid is closed.
This part is designed for use with select units in the Avantco Equipment S30, S30CP, S30RD, and S30SS series, as well as Galaxy GSW11 series units.
Attention CA Residents:I’m not a fan of the pot lid, it’s very thin, and hard to get the hang of to open to the resting position. It looks like the lid hook won’t last very long, it appears to be very cheap, like the lid. I do not recommend ordering more, I will be looking for an alternative lid.

I have 4 of these soup warmers. All of the tops have broken. The latch is poorly made. The soup kettles are perfect but the tops are needed. I’m reordering again. For this is the only top that will fit it’s a shame they cost do much. I just returned 2 they were wrong size
