Are there any temperature specifications to keep in mind when installing this glass door unit?
This unit has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 90 degrees Fahrenheit. However, high humidity environments may cause excessive condensation and ice accumulation in the unit and on its doors.
Does Avantco warrant this item for use in a food truck?
Avantco warrants new equipment sold to food truck customers to be operational for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery if installed and maintained correctly.
I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?
R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.
Is the door on this merchandiser field reversible for right- or left-handed use?
No, there is no option to change the door opening direction. For Avantco Refrigeration products that do feature this option, the hinge reversal kit will be offered in the "Accessories & Options" dropdown on the product page.
My unit was delivered, but I don’t see any casters?
The units come with casters preassembled underneath the pallet.

We have been using the freezer for about a year and half now. We keep ice cream pints, cakes, prepackaged frozen yogurt, etc. Freezing function works fine, but also has some other issues. I do not know what causes it, but water drips from the top (is this defrosting function?) and it creates icicles in the back and ice at the bottom. We were manually defrosting every month but now we have a 6 quart bucket set at the top shelf to collect the dripping water. We have to empty it out every two weeks but that is better than manually defrosting every month. Also, the air being sucked after opening and closing is annoying. I probably won't buy this brand again.

large and clear freezer. Easy to install and clean. perfect for my gluten free products and easy access for customers. my only complain is that each time someone open the door, the condensation's water drops leak on door glass and freeze. I need to scratch with plastic card for cleaning it.
