To provide the operator with full control, this blender features a variable speed mechanism that allows you to adjust the rate with which you're whipping or emulsifying your products with an easy turn of the dial on the handle. This makes it convenient and user friendly to adjust to the perfect speed while blending your product without any trouble.
For user safety, the unit requires two buttons to be pressed to start the unit, but once running the enable button can be released and the unit is controlled just using the power button.
This unit also includes a lock button for continuous, hands-free operation. With this button, you can mix, blend, and puree your foods without holding down the power button.
You can easily adjust the speed of the unit from the handle for a convenient, user-friendly experience. The cooling fans on the housing ensure that this unit will stand up in your commercial kitchen without overheating.
The blending shaft easily detaches from the base so that it can be cleaned and stored efficiently. This also makes it simple to mix and match any size blending shaft or whisk attachment (sold separately) to an AvaMix IB power base. This unit requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.

It worked well for about 2 weeks and then completely stopped working. Very disappointing. I expected much better durability and reliability from this immersion blender.

lasted 4 months and now wont turn on - this is our 3rd AvaMix and we've only been open 2 years. We thought buying the heavy duty would be better but guess not.

????? Powerful and Perfect for a Busy Kitchen! I’m very happy with this immersion blender! In my Mexican restaurant, we make a lot of our sauces and salsas from scratch, so having a powerful blender that can handle larger batches is extremely important. The AvaMix Heavy-Duty Immersion Blender has made prep so much easier and faster. It has plenty of power, blends smoothly, and the variable speed gives me great control depending on what I’m making. I also love being able to blend right in the container instead of transferring everything back and forth—less mess and fewer dishes! When you run a restaurant, anything that saves time in the kitchen is a winner. This has quickly become one of those pieces of equipment I’m glad I purchased. Powerful, convenient, and definitely restaurant-kitchen approved! ?????

Great value for the price. We use daily for making sauces and dressings. Very easy to attach and detach the blade assembly. Powerful enough to puree more than 5 gallons of tomatoes in just a couple minutes.

Great Immersion Blender, only issue I had with this model was after about 6 months of use, some of the ball bearings on the actual blade themself started falling out. Still works great to this day 2 years later.
