How is the shaft length measured on this immersion blender?
The shaft length measurement refers to the total length from the end of the bell to the connector sleeve.
Why won’t the attachment shaft stay connected to my immersion blender?
The attachments for this immersion blender have an interlocking mechanism that keeps the attachment secure to the power pack. When installing the immersion blender arm or whisk, twist the power pack and attachment in opposing directions until you hear / feel them click into place.
I purchased this immersion blender because it was advertised as suitable for commercial kitchen use. Unfortunately, it failed after only two very light-duty uses.
The blender was used for light production work, with no thick products. After the second use, the gear assembly at the shaft end separated and became detached from the motor-side gear assembly, rendering the unit unusable.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product for commercial kitchens. Reliability is critical in a professional environment, and this blender failed almost immediately under minimal workload.
