The cover is very stretchy, but about 2 inches too small to cover my whole my 18-inch rolling pin. It covers enough of it to do its job, and over the past 5 months has done a good job of protecting the soft aluminum of the rolling pin from dents, scratches, and dust in storage. I have a silicone baking pin, but I don’t always want to use that in every application. This cover is perfect for my wooden rolling pin when I roll out pizza and boli dough. The fibers help cut down the amount of flour needed. But, you could also use these as just a cover if you keep your pins on the countertop in a crock so that they’re ready for use when you need them. It’s made of cotton, so just throw it in the wash to clean it. I’m not sure if it will hold up in the dryer, so I just air dry mine.
