I use this with a dough that can often be very sticky - Usually I'll have to clean my pin after a few uses. This silicone cover allows me to continue rolling out our dough mix without having to stop and clean all the time. In fact, I only need to clean after I'm done! Ensure you have the correct sized pin for this cover.

I really wanted to like this cover but be warned that you still need to use cornstarch or powder sugar so that the fondant does not stick - which defeats the whole "silicone" non stick concept. The description of the product is misleading and not very informative. I'm returning it.

This silicone rolling pin cover fits nicely on an 18" rolling pin. It's excellent for rolling out sticky cookie dough. Allows me to roll them out without extra flour.
