Ateco Stainless Steel Rolling Circle Cutter

Ateco Stainless Steel Rolling Circle Cutter

Hi, this is Julie Bashore and I want to share with you this circular cutting tool that was made by Ateco. It's a quick way of cutting circles, either for pierogies or cookies or cutting dough for little pies or tartlets or even little fondant circles to go on a cake. This is how it works. It's fun and it's easy. 1. Position the cutter flat down on the dough and the handle in your hand. Press down on the dough for a complete cut. 2. Begin to roll the cutter, so that the blade is spinning horizontally, and that the cutter is moving in a straight line away from you. 3. Continue until you've reach the end of your dough or your preferred stopping location. 4. Then remove the cutter and the loose pieces of dough around the cuts. 5. Now you have several equally-sized circles, ready for decorating or baking! I made four perfect circles of even size. Some cake decorators use these circle cutters for making cute borders, just by cutting them in half. Place them together on the cake; just very simply join the half circles side-by-side, so that there's a flat top across the scalloped design. And this, of course, would be a design that works its way all the way around the circumference of the cake.

Webstaurant has a video on how to use the Ateco 1355 2 1/2" Stainless Steel Rolling Circle Cutter with Blue Silicone Handle (August Thomsen). Great video because I never would have guessed what it is and does. What an invention. If you need to cut dough that is 2 1/2" inches in diameter, use this handy "roller" to cut circles on a flattened dough one after the next. What an invention.
This is perfect to cut raviolis! I use this often for freezing and to be able to make sure that you can get identical shapes.
Easily make even and consistent circles in dough without the fuss. Just roll out the dough you are using and roll this tool over in straight lines
It was an okay cutter, edges need to be sharper. Used it to cut out sponge cake and it was a fail, might work better on dough.
This is an amazing tool for cutting pasta dough or cookie dough - it just rolls over and cuts perfectly even circles of dough with no waste sough in between. Much faster than using a cookie cutter or something similar.
Innovative circle cutter. Was a little skeptical at first but the operation is extremely smooth. The silicone handle is perfect for this as a wood handled one can really wear on your hand with the motions of using it.
This is a good cutter. It cuts continuously so saves a bit of time and cuts next to the others so less rerolling of the dough.
This is one of my favorite tools. I used it while making ravioli they came out perfectly and it made the job so much easier.
This is an awesome tool! If you are making round circles out of fondant, or cutting cookie dough this thing is so helpful! It is also comfortable to use.
This is a great circle cutter for the money. Great quality, I've had it for about a year now and it has held up well. It has been great for cutting homemade ravioli and perogies I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Used the Ateco 1355 2 1/2" Stainless Steel Rolling Circle Cutter with Blue Silicone Handle (August Thomsen) to cut sandwich cheese. This steel rolling circle cutter made the job so much easier. Great purchase.

The Ateco Stainless Steel Rolling Circle Cutter is a great little tool to have on hand for a number of uses: cutting cookies, raviolis, mini tarts, puffed pastry appetizers and more!
This circle cutter is a must-have for bakeries. It allows you to cut perfect circles. I use it to make polka dots out of fondant for cakes. Awesome!
Works great! This'll make life so much easier, and faster! It's such a great price as well. Perfect more pierogies. I would definitely recommend this.
I love this cutter! It makes cutting raviolis so much quicker than with the method I was using before, which was using a round cutter. Great for sugar cookies too. Very happy with this.
This is a great alternative tool for round cutters when making filled pasta or pastries. It works fast and efficient. Love making all sorts of baked goods with it. Super affordable price.
This is great for making mini pie tops! It cuts a perfect size and saves so much time! We also use it for mini puff pasty!

Even though we don't make ravioli that often, at this price, we had to purchase this cutter. It really does make cutting pasta dough much more efficient, and has allowed us to make fresh ravioli as a weekly special, whereas before, we made them only once every month.
I never knew a product like this existed before looking on webstaurant. I think I have fallen in love with this. It actually comes in very handy!
