The base has a standard height design to help set your dining area apart from the bar area in pubs and other establishments. Its 3" column provides maximum stability while integrated levelers allow your table to be used on uneven surfaces. This base is easily installed beneath a compatible Art Marble tabletop (sold separately) with regular #9-1" wood screws that ship with the base when purchased with a compatible top, eliminating the need for specialized mounting hardware.
