These airtight storage containers do what they say they will. They are constructed well and should literally last forever. I was looking specifically for truly airtight storage for pantry items to keep food fresh and keep pantry moths or other pantry pests out. I like the temperature range these can withstand and that they are made from heavy duty polypropylene. There are several that hold different quantities that are the same dimensions except the height making them stack neatly on the pantry shelf. They are somewhat difficult to close in order to get the air tightness, especially if you have any hand strength/mobility issues, but this gets a little easier with practice and getting use to. The only small issue I encountered was removing the red manufacturers sticker can pull off the "permanently embedded reusable label" from the front of the container, just be sure to pull it upwards carefully and you won't have this issue.
