An important component of your equipment’s electrical system, relays handle the switching of electrical current. Designed to use low voltage or low current electricity to operate a high-current appliance, the relay acts as a switch to either connect or disconnect a circuit. They work with lower amperage devices and are generally small in size with few contacts or poles.
