Coated Lens and Speaking Diaphragm

The large lens has a Scotchgard coating that protects against paints and stains, and it repels moisture so it can easily be wiped. This lens ensures excellent visibility and a wide field of view. Plus, a passive speaking diaphragm allows the user to be heard for improved communication when it's needed most.

Can I wear a respirator if I have facial hair?

Facial hair can interfere with valve function and prevent a seal, which will cause most PPE to fail. P&SA respirators can be worn with facial hair without interfering with the seal. Check each respirator’s compatibility with facial hair before purchasing.

What is the difference between a dust mask and a respirator?

Dust masks are not NIOSH approved and are intended to be worn to protect against non-toxic nuisance dusts during mowing, gardening, sweeping, and dusting.

N95 respirators protect against particles in the air to filter out hazardous bacteria or viruses. Respirators that are NIOSH approved will be clearly marked with a label notifying users that the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the U. S.
