"We usually get this from a local store, but the price was so much better online. We are very happy with our choice, the color is great and it stays on the cookies beautifully. Highly recommend this product"
Read More ReviewsUnlike granulated sugar, sanding sugar does not dissolve when subjected to heat or wet icing and liquids, allowing it to hold up better through baking and easily stick to the surface of your baked goods for a nice, crunchy texture and polished look. Plus, with larger granules than granulated sugar, this sugar reflects light to achieve a beautiful sparkling effect that helps upscale even the simplest of offerings.
A great addition to any specialty baker and caterer's arsenal, this sanding sugar is ideal for decorating and garnishing cookies, scones, cupcakes, muffins, and candies. Its light green color is great for matching your customer's event color scheme, creating festive sweets for the holidays, or simply for giving your treats a unique pop of color and glimmer!
Because it is bake-stable, this sugar can be used before or after baking as the perfect finishing touch. For best results when getting your sanding sugar to stick to your baked goods, let them cool completely, brush with an egg wash, and decorate with the sugar as desired. In addition to an egg wash, icings, glazes, and melted chocolate can also be used as a foundation to the sanding sugar.

These sprinkles are popular for decorating ice cream, cakes, and cookies. Customers like the bright colors, good taste, and large quantity for the price. Many mention they are a hit with kids and useful for many occasions. Some note packaging could be better and that quality or texture can vary. Overall, most find them a good value.

These sugar crystals are much small and fine in person than I thought they would be. Almost like dust when sprinkled on our cups of shaved ice. They desolate so quickly because of how tiny they are which doesn’t create the best presentation. Taste wise they are great!

Was very disappointed in this product, I could have just brought regular sugar based on the product received. Had to purchase sparkling sugar to enhance the product as we were adding them it cookie kits as topping on icing.

Just the right texture for what we needed! We use pink and sometimes yellow sanding sugar like this to cover our donuts for special occasions. This year we made Peep inspired donuts with marshmallow filling and sugar on top just like a real Peep. Can’t beat it!
We purchased the lavender sanding sugar for decorating king cakes and it turns blue within a few hours of being applied to the icing. See pictures of the color this turn compared to how it looks when we use a different brand of sanding sugar.

Terrible color for being listed as "light green". My own fault for hoping the picture was wrong ?? it's absolutely more of a turquoise/teal situation, not at all what would be considered light green.

Love this sugar for decorating our cones. However the blue has changed. It is not a dark pretty blue like it used to be. Now its more of a teal or aqua. Bring back the dark blue please!!!
This is grade FINE sugar if you were wondering. Granulated or table sugar is super fine. Table sugar is a combination of this and sugar dust. So this is the size of the largest sugar crystals in granulated/table sugar. It’s not the super chunky sugar for topping cookies.
Thank you for the review! We’re sorry this sanding sugar is not working for your needs. We suggest trying this Adourne Expressions White Sparkling Sugar instead.
I should have trusted the reviews. This is not sanding sugar - at least not what you want to use to create decor on a cookie. It completely disappears on top of our cookies (where as the C&H white sanding sugar stays on and creates a glitter effect). We couldn't find our usual product so I thought I would try it out. Nope - it is marketed incorrectly.

Very good quality and good amount of supply. The only flaw would be in packaging as a container instead of bag could help preserve freshness (we transferred to one after opening). Otherwise, recommended!
I have been buying sanding sugar from Webstaurantstore for a long time. The quality of these sanding sugar varies a lot. The biggest problem I have is with the colored powder mixed in it. This type of sugar is filled with so much colored powder that it becomes unacceptable and unbearable. Out of all the colors I have ordered so far, the blue sanding sugar is the worst. After you take the blue sugar out of the bag and try to put in a container, blue powder and dust just flys everywhere, staining from skins to clothes to furniture and to wall. I cannot breathe and have to hold my breath, or my nose will be completely covered in blue ( and probably my lungs). I have to stop buying from this website for the sake of my health, despite their great price. My workers also complain about the unbearable dust. Anyhow, I really wish you can apply some kind of quality control for the powdery dust. I am willing to pay for a better quality. The current quality is not acceptable.

Nice warm yellow color! Great for Easter cookies! Pretty color for Birthday cookies & cakes! Great price for the size of bag, will continue to purchase!
We usually get this from a local store, but the price was so much better online. We are very happy with our choice, the color is great and it stays on the cookies beautifully. Highly recommend this product
Love the pink color. It is very bright pink, just as pictured. I can use these for anything for baking. Shipped to me very quickly. It came in 2 days.
Must have color for Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and 4th of July. The color is consistent, bright and sparkly. Packed in heavy weight plastic within a sturdy box.
I bought these purple sprinkles to use as toppings for a wedding order I had. The bride loved the lavender sugar topping on the cake pops I made. They were gorgeous and super sparkly.
I make DIY sugar cookie decorating kits, and this sanding sugar is the perfect addiction. The bulk quantity is perfect because you can use the same color for multiple holidays/occasions. Fast shipping and great product!
