Details

Create soft and delicious breads with this White Lily enriched unbleached bread flour! As a twist on a classic southern staple, this bread flour gets different properties from its composition of high protein hard wheat, which is what gives your bread doughs better gluten development and structure. Use this bread flour to make scrumptious pizza dough, bread, and rolls in your restaurant or cafe!

This flour achieves the perfect texture and flavor in your breads because of the processes it goes through, like specialized milling and enriching, which give it the light and airy texture that your customers are looking for. Since this flour is unbleached, it provides a slightly coarser crumb and darker flour color to give more structure to your breads. This flour contains dough conditioners to ensure your dough has a strong structure and is easy to work with. Plus, for balanced nutrition, this flour is enriched by adding minerals like iron, thiamin, and riboflavin, making it easy to help your customers get their daily dose of vitamins and minerals. This 5 lb. bag is the ideal size for small bakeries or cafes since it has a small footprint and stores easily, while this case of 8 bags keeps you in good supply.

Started in 1883 by J. Allen Smith, White Lily was founded in Knoxville, Tennessee with the unique idea of producing flour from 100% soft winter wheat grain. That idea gained them notoriety as the best-selling flour in the Southeastern U.S., making White Lily a staple in the South because of its ability to create soft and flaky biscuits, pie crusts, and pastries. Using a unique milling process that uses only the heart of the endosperm, they are able to create a flour that is distinctly different than any cake or pastry flour that is on the market. White Lily continues to make its best-selling flour and cornmeal mixes in many varieties to aid in the creation of lighter and fluffier products. Enhance your doughs and biscuits with this best kept secret from the South!

Unbleached Bread Flour

I have used this flour for a couple of months now. It does the job. I use this only for making bread and pizza dough and my breads turn out amazing. I wish that Webstaurant offered more flours that are including the shipping, but they don't.
