Can I plug in this unit for use right away after receiving it?

No. It is strongly recommended to allow this unit to sit in its normal operating position for at least 24 hours before plugging it in for use. This allows the compressor oil and refrigerant time to settle from being displaced during transport, preventing damage to the unit that may void its warranty.

The Wells RCTS-4 countertop server keeps all of your condiments, toppings, and more at the NSF-7 compliant 35 degrees Fahrenheit mark throughout meal service at your buffet, taco bar, or hot dog and hamburger topping station to ensure food safe temperatures for your customers. This self-contained unit uses a 1/6 hp compressor, R-134a refrigerant, and foamed-in-place insulation to maintain freshness, while the adjustable temperature controls and lighted on/off switch make operating this unit simple for you and your staff. Plastic hinged lids over the 4 included 1/6 size clear polycarbonate food pans help keep unwanted particles out of the product when not in use. Although the unit comes with 1/6 size food pans, it can also accommodate (1) 2/3, (2)1/3, or (6) 1/9 size pans, which are all removable for quick cleaning. A handy adapter bar is included so that adding these different sized fractional pans is easy.

The front, back, and sides of this unit are made of durable, easy-to-clean stainless steel, providing an attractive, professional look that your guests will trust. Its 1/2" rubber feet help prevent the unit from sliding around, while also keeping it up off the countertop for better ventilation.

The Wells RCTS-4 countertop server requires a 120V connection for operation.
