This hot plate features a drop-in design so it can fit right in your countertops, and its ceramic surface heats up five times faster than conventional hot plates. The smooth design is meant to work with any pot or skillet, and the whole unit resists thermal shock for long-lasting durability. For easy cooking and even heat distribution, a long-lasting heating element is mounted in the center of the unit. The controls are mounted on a recessed remote unit to avoid accidental temperature changes, and thanks to its basic design, it's easy to wipe clean.
