It's powder-coated for weather-resistance, and it can be made even more sturdy with the addition of an optional concrete base (sold separately).

The steel exterior of this receptacle is easy to clean. It features a funnel lid that keeps trash from flowing over the sides and is extremely easy to detach and reattach when it's time to empty the unit! This unit includes a compatible 8 gallon liner, which makes cleaning the inside of the receptacle easy.
