It's powder-coated for weather-resistance, and it can be made even more sturdy with the addition of an optional concrete base (sold separately).

The steel exterior of this receptacle is easy to clean. It features an aluminum funnel lid that keeps trash from flowing over the sides and is extremely easy to detach and reattach when it's time to empty the unit! This unit includes a compatible 28 gallon liner, which makes cleaning the inside of the receptacle easy.
