Actively shopping for our restaurant's next immersion blender. We use one likely 2-5 times per week in house. And, for not super aggressive tasks: blending salad dressing, finishing cooked fruit jam, finishing a cooked vegetable soup... Three Stars because while it was running, it did a just fine job. I purchased last January. Expected a little more longevity. We take care of things. Maybe it's a matter of you get what you pay for, but truth is, I just don't want to invest too much into something we don't use very often. Last month, it started making a high pitched squealing noise. Now, it's stopping in use. Would have like to have had more than just over a year's worth of use out of a so lightly used tool. Hence, the 3 stars.
