Waring WCIC20 Details

Create your own specialty ice cream, frozen yogurt, or gelato in-house with the Waring WCIC20 2 qt. compressor ice cream maker! Perfect for concocting unique flavors and custom desserts, this machine accommodates up to 2 qt. of ice cream at a time, making that much in as little as 30 minutes.

Use the easy-to-read touch control display to initiate operation, and watch as the visual icons change throughout the cycle to identify the current stage of the process. Thanks to the clear design of the batch bowl lid, you can also take advantage of the outstanding product visibility, watching as your ingredients are whipped up into ice cream! A specially designed paddle mixes the ingredients together and adds just the right amount of air to guarantee your ice cream has the perfect consistency when finished. When it is done, the machine holds the ice cream at the correct temperature to maintain its integrity. This prevents it from melting when you're busy preparing another dish.

After use, clean the machine and its parts to ensure that it's ready for the next batch. For your convenience, the batch bowl is removable so that you can easily wash it separately from the rest of the machine. The unit requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.

I own one of these machines and it is really great. Unfortunately I bought it before I found this place and WAY overpaid for it :( Basically it's a two quart ice cream maker, you pour your ingredients in, push a button and about an hour later, have fresh ice cream to eat. It doesn't get much easier than this really. For those of us 'old school' types who remember the days of playing with salt, ice, and depending on how 'old' school you want to go, turning a crank for 45 minutes, you can put all that stuff into the 'back when I was your age we did it THIS way' closet, because all of that work is gone. For the next gen ice cream enthusiasts who got the luxury of a bowl to throw in the freezer that you lop everything in and hope your Read More

Super convenient to use and clean. You can make fantastic sorbets in 40 minutes with only 3 or 4 ingredients. Cleanup is easy, and the footprint is small.

I love this thing! it works so much better than those "freeze a bowl" ice cream machines. it is a little large but the self contained compressor is worth it. it usually takes me about an hour to freeze a large batch of ice cream, so the pre-set times are off, but it's a great machine for small batch ice cream.

It made good ice cream for a while, but it just isn't sturdy enough for regular commercial use. We do about 4qts of ice cream a week, and this machine broke down after less than a year.

So far this machine has not let me down. Obviously it is not meant for heavy duty use. It will not whip air into your ice cream so you will have no overrun.

This machine never worked. I had operated it one time without the small pour spout cover, which I thought might have been the problem. Now having found the part, I tried it again with the same result- it doesn't freeze and the machine heats up a lot. A bit scary, actually. Unfortunately, my investigative efforts took too long and warranty period is expired. 600.00 loss. Not happy!

We appreciate your review, Kate. We wish this product would have worked out for you. Our Customer Solutions team will remain in contact with you about this.
