Purchased this unit about a month ago. After the first day one of use,the circular paddles stopped working. Ice also started forming on the the bottom of the bowls after turning on. Called the manufacturer and they said it was a thermostat issue for the paddle to stop working. The problem with this is that there is not a clear way to regulate the temperature on this machine, so you are just blindly turning a knob inside the unit to "guess" where it should be. After adjusting, the paddles started working again only to for the other paddles to fail after an hour of use. At this point I have no confidence in this product. Frustrated to say the least since this machine has been in my shop taking up space and not generating any revenue. Such a waste of money.

Does not hold up & is very poor quality

I bought this machine back in March but I just turned it on and it's a nightmare. I bought two but none work. It just rattles and it doesn't flow properly. Looks cool but save your money

Don’t buy this machine. Paddles don’t work after a few minutes. They replace the machine but still doing the same problem. I’m frustrated not making any money on this product.

Trash. Terrible design. I've had 3 and they all freeze and burn up the motor. Get a Crathco

do not waste your money in this product,it make ice at the bottom,call the company for the warranty they are so rude,even webrestaurant they said they are not responsible for that..

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I bought this machine in 2023. For every year, starting in 2023 one of the motors on one bowl has burned out. Since the machine was still under warranty the first time, an authorized technician had to complete the repair. It took about a week to find one, then reimbursable repairs were a lot. The second time, a motor on a different bowl burned out, in 2024, I went ahead and had the work done since I had also purchased extended warranty. I emailed the same warranty department in hopes of being reimbursed. I have yet to receive a response. So I lost money on that repair. End of last year, another bowl stopped working. I am sure it is the same problem. Am I going to repair it? No. I will be purchasing a much cheaper machine off another site... at least I will get my money's worth. I am so dissapointed in Vollrath and I thought they were top of the line.

Had this thing for less than a year and it leaked twice. Unable to return it, they only replace the item. Now I'm stuck with a defective piece of equipment. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Purchased two of these units about 4 years ago. We have had to replace the stirring motors several times at around $200 each in parts.
