I bought this for bagels, but I can only see it working for toast. Bagels get caught on the coils. If I trim them down to make them shorter, they get stuck in the back of the maching instead of falling down.

This toaster has worked great for us. We do make our own homemade bread, so it has no preservatives therefore we do have to run it through twice. It does come out perfect.
The time savings that you get from this conveyor toaster oven is worth every penny. I use this for the breakfast buffet and it really sped things up.
