Customer Q&A Ask a Question

How can I properly care for this aluminum item?
Hand washing is always the best option to ensure that your aluminum stays in best working order. However, if you decide to clean these in a dishwasher, we strongly recommend using metal-safe detergents and sanitizers to eliminate any flaking or tarnishing that could occur from some harsher cleaners.
What's the difference between a riveted and a welded handle?
A riveted handle is connected by small metal pieces (called rivets) that are crushed between the handle and the pan body to attach them together. This type of handle is more common on copper and aluminum cookware.

For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.

pot pans cool handle heat home pan soup evenly endure
The 4.5qt soup pot is very decent quality, and thick enough to endure some abuse. I have seen some of these soup pot where the stamp on the bottom is visible on the inside of the pot, but this one doesn't show through. They take a stainless steel scrubby like its their friend, and although they do blacken with use, it is usually fairly easy to get most of it off. They don't include a “cool handle” grip, but that's great for me since I like to throw them into the oven from time to time. I think the “cool handle 2” would fit, if you wanted one. They hang on my pot rack at home just fine. I have a 3.75qt that I have used for 10+ years at home and still love it.
Wonderful pan that we use to heat up various foods on daily basis, this is a nice medium weight pan and heat distributes evenly, we purchased a couple of these pans.
