They're constructed from durable 20-gauge stainless steel, with plastic coated handles that are heat-resistant up to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. The stainless steel end of the tongs is heat-resistant up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

I highly recommend these tongs. They are great for multi use and have really good length to them. The grip is also so great on these and makes it so much easier with getting our pizza out of the oven with.

The rubber coated handle is definitely a much needed feature to keep the tong from burning the griller's hands The tong opening is wide by default, making it easy to grab big cuts of meat. Made of heavy-duty steel, it is much thicker than typical ones seen at the local supermarkets. Great product by Vollrath.

The VersaGrip heads definitely give you better grip on food than the traditional scalloped heads. We use these for handling charcoal, and they work great for that. The only thing to be careful about is that the heads won't align properly if you aren't careful.

These tongs are great for fryer use. Easy to grab hot items from baskets and from the fryer themselves. The coated handle protects you from getting burnt and if they fall into the fryer once removed they cool off pretty quickly and the coating does not disintegrate.
