Vollrath 47046 Heavy Duty 6" Pom Tongs

These heavy duty pom tongs are a great product that not only look nice but are very durable and functional. The stainless steel single-piece construction makes them easy to clean and gives them a very streamlined look. This 9 inch model gives an extra bit of reach as well.

These are handy tongs. They are available in multiple lengths - these are the 9". I use them mostly for retrieving and serving pickles, olives, etc. They appear to be made well - out of a single piece of metal. The natural spring in the tongs is about perfect. I would imagine these tongs would hold up well in a commercial environment. I would recommend them.

These nine inch tongs are fantastic for a number of task, all of which helps us prevent direct food contact, which is a requirement from the health department.

This is a nice tong. Study one piece design. It picks up items easily and maintains it 's grip, Can be used to pick up veggies on a veggie tray. Would buy again.

Completely standard pom tongs. Absolutely nothing special. They do the job they are supposed to do and do it well. The heavy duty version is, of course, sturdier and should hold up better to abuse.

We love these, they fit so well in our small bakery cases. We also provide them for our Wedding parties to use at their events!

These are a staple, and wonderful for everything from cilantro to cucumbers. They are well made, easy to clean, durable. Every single one we purchased is still in good condition.

I use these daily to grab hot things or add to serving bowls. They aren’t fancy /more like basic tong. I especially like putting them out on top of food bowls at picnics/holidays so people don’t use their hands to grab food.

I have been looking for them for a while. And I am glad I could find it especially in this size. The color is beautiful. I already put them in dishwasher once and no deformation. I will use them to serve cheese and such I guess.

Awesome length, I prefer to use this when grilling. This tong is sturdy and well made, and did not rust. I brought two and would recommend to others.

Great pair of tongs. Sturdy and easy to use. No pinching like you would get with tongs that have a hinge. I've been using pom tongs for years because they are really the easiest and most efficient type to use, in my opinion.

Hard to complain at the price, but these tongs are really ugly. Vollrath has their name and info printed on the outside/both sides of this tong. My dish staff just brought them to me and referred to them as prison tongs. They look like they've been used, scratched, dull finish. I'm quickly shopping for something new. These can't be used in party rental.

These Pom tongs are the best. They are not kidding when they say “Heavy Duty”. So glad I went with these Instead of the cheap ones for our salad bar. They make it easy to pick up food and place it in your container. We also purchased the 9" ones and they are the same quality. They will last a lifetime. Hope this helps

The serrated teeth really aid in picking up small items and finger foods. They are a great addition to room service trays for small parties of guests that are sharing several platters.

This is a really good quality pom tong. I would recommend it over the other ones on the site. I use it regularly to remove items from my toaster oven.
