This is a very nice and practical pan for the price. Bottom is very thick, and pan heats very well, and I wouldn't worry that the sides are only 21g. Its almost as nice as higher end pans, but a few times cheaper. Its clearly a step above cheap consumer grade stainless in this price range and obvious its made for commercial use.

This is one of our favorite pans. Very heavy duty and easy to clean if you make sure to heat it before adding any oil, etc. Great pan for saucy dishes.

The quality of this pan is obvious the moment you take it out of the box. The construction is excellent and the handle, helper handle and lid are well designed. I was worried about the pan because the box was destroyed by fedex and the handle was sticking out upon arrrival. However there is no obvious damage and the pan sits flat on the stove. Kudos to westaraunt but not so much for fedex. For my nest order I’d be willing to pay a few bucks more for UPS shipping

I purchased this pan as I like to cook large quantities and my 10” saute pan isn’t big enough. I wanted a 14” pan with lid and this is the only one I found, and not only did it come with a lid, the price was the cheapest I found. If the Vollrath pan came with a lid I would have bought it as this pan is welded and if welding was the best I’m sure all of the professional pans would be welded and not riveted. This pan is great. This pan is heavy, really heavy, and the helper handle gets used a lot. I just made 2 1/2 gallons of chili and this pan has plenty of room for cooking 6 lbs of ground beef, and from my experience this pan can easily cook 7 or 8 lbs of ground beef. I LOVE THIS PAN!! The size is wonderful, I love how much I can cook in it without overcrowding. It’s super easy to clean, a quick, gentle scrub with a sponge and it cleans right up l. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly, even on our cheap stove. The handles are big, probably a little too big for our small apartment kitchen, but it makes it so easy to maneuver, I don’t mind. I love that it comes with a lid also.

I love this pan! Everything I have from Vigor is wonderful and holds up well to continuous use as compared to other brands. The fact that this is induction ready is just a cherry on top!

This sauce pan has a deceptive amount of heft and feels extremely solid. The helper handle comes very much in handy. Definitely maximizes the possible space you can use on a home kitchen range so you it can handle any saucy experiment you throw at it.

nice large pan that works with our conduction cooktop. It is easy to pick up having the extra handle on the edge. Beware both handles get hot.

This pan works well, but not a great pan during service, good for preparation before. The drawback is the size of handle and the weight of the panned a touch awkwardness with the helper handle on the other side. Works great on induction burners.

For both prep and line work this pot is very versatile. Not a huge fan of the front handle, but it does make for eat transport. Nice wide pan for searing or even small braising needs.

I use this saute pan as a home substitute for a flat-top to grill chicken and burgers. I also use to it make large batches of sauces that need lots of surface area to reduce. This pan is incredibly versatile and made really well. It's a joy to use! Aside from the the rather utilitarian-looking handle, it makes a great addition to my collection of pots and pans.

The heavy bottoms of these pans is great. They heat evenly and retain heat well. Works great with my induction cooktop, and the helper handle on the larger pans comes in very handy. The first one I ordered arrived damaged, and Webstaurant Store was quick to respond and offer to send a replacement.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, so I had not been able to use it until recently. This is a nice, hefty, stainless steel pan--the weight is important in that it both gets and retains heat quite well--and it has no noticeable 'hotspots.' It is easy to clean. It is nice and deep, it works well as a fryer as well as for braising. The lid is recessed, which is wonderful for braising and simmering as any steam falls back into the pan (as opposed to all over the stove). The only thing that I find disappearing is the handle; it is shaped like a half to three-quarterback inch pipe, that is to say that it is round. I find this to be a bit clumsy, but then my hands are quite small. Fortunately, there is a helper handle, as well. All in all, it is very good bargain. I would not hesitate to recommend this pan.

I use this pan to brown meat and it is ideal for it. The size is ample and it has an excellent feel to it when in use on the stovetop.

Great quality pan, thick bottom for heat retention. Survives the dishwasher. As with any stainless steel cookware - make sure you heat it up prior to putting oil/fat.

I bought this pan to make larger batches for meal prep. It looks great, feels heavy duty, but it didn't cook as evenly as I was hoping. I used it on a 7 in electric heat element at my apartment, and it only sautéed properly in the 11 in diameter over the element. After moving things around I was able to cook the rest of my chicken. It did end up cooking the meat faster than doing 2 batches in my 10 in sauté pan. I will have to experiment with this pan more to see if adjusting my technique can make better use of it. If you have a larger heating element this pan may work well for you.
