Polycarbonate has a clear color and is highly visible, and it also boasts high stain resistance and durability/rigidity. Its temperature range is between -40 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not recommended for use in the freezer or microwave, but it is safe for cleaning in the dishwasher. Polycarbonate ranks at a higher price point.
The lids best serve as a cover for your food containers. Although they are not meant to seal tightly, they do an excellent job of keeping contaminants out of the container's contents. The lids do not snap or lock into place and will come off if knocked over or turned upside down.

Wow. 3 times I've had to rewrite?? I really think it's sneaky not to put in your specs these are NOT bpa free. I wouldn't have purchased and now as I've cleaned and stored out bulk goods, I see the sticker and read these can expose us to chemicals known to cause birth defects. Pretty crazy how many ppl are infertile these days and the idea restaurants use these to store food in 24/7?? I'm so bummed I didn't read the California resident msg, but I'm in Oregon so it's not that I think about it. I would encourage you to be upfront with your products, it's really disappointing. I bought to take with us when we move into our bus for our bulk section but now I'm going to rethink that idea. I have two kids and this is just not something I care to add to their little bodies. Please add this to all these sizes. I bought 10 different sizes and I'm just so bummed out.

This 2 quart container is the perfect size for washed herbs, vegetables, fruits or soups and sauces. You have to get the 2/4 quart size lid to use with the container, so it might be best to just buy it together unless you lose one or the other.
