Hi, my name is Zoli Bakk with American Louver Company. Today I'm here to talk about our new universal stratus reducers. With this product, you no longer need to know the next size of diffusers in advance. The stratus reducer ensures that you have the correct fit each time and every time as it's a one-size-fits-all solution. You can buy it as a kit, which includes a 14" diffuser of your choice, the reducer, and a 48" duct strap.
You start by snapping on the reducer by aligning the duct tabs to the duct tab holes on the reducer. Each diffuser has two duct tabs: one on this side and one on the other side. Make sure they're aligned. Snap it in. There we go. Next, determine the neck size that you need for the job. Each reducer has a 6", 8", 10", and 12" tier that you can remove individually. So you start by determining the size, and let's say you need a 10". So you start by removing this tab. Completely remove it. Next, you stick your needle-nose plyers in the hole that is now visible, and you grab it firmly, and you pull upwards in the direction of the little tab there. Once you have that, you can easily remove it by hand, and you're all done.
Once you have the excess material removed, now you're ready to connect to your duct. You can use the duct strap that's included with the kit to connect the flex. You can buy it in 10-packs, or you can buy it as a kit. For kits, you can choose from any style that we offer. You will find that this product saves you time, money, stock, space, and overall frustration. It comes in really handy when you have limited time to retro-fit a job. Every job is unique, and the plenum space may contain diffusers of different neck sizes. If you need product specs or submittals, go to our website at AmericanLouver.com. Also, each individual box contains installation instructions, so you always have it. We hope you get to try our product soon. Thank you.
