Reduce prep time, installation time, and inventory size with the American Louver Company STR-C-W-NRD Stratus universal reducer kit 6" to 14". This kit comes with a universal reducer and a cone diffuser. This universal reducer fits standard size diffusers from 6" to 14" in diameter. Simply use pliers to break off the nob on the desired diameter level on the reducer and pull the strip off. This functionality can be performed at the job site, minimizing the need to carry extensive inventory and reducing prep time. The unit snaps onto the diffuser tab and will sufficiently hold without the need for fasteners or screws.

The diffuser is made of durable, engineered polymers and stainless steel screws, designed to resist rust, corrosion, yellowing or fading, and to resist mildew. The polymer itself is natively white and therefore without paint, negating the need to repaint this diffuser. The strong design maintains integrity and will not bend or scratch, despite being 50% lighter than its metal competitors.

The polymer construction of this diffuser contributes to its high-level performance as an air flow diffuser. The plastic is antistatic, so dust and lint won't collect on the diffuser and spray allergens. The polymer also resists sweating which will prevent moisture and condensation build up. This not only makes the diffuser easier to maintain, but functionally resists mildew and other mold growth on the product. Its air flow capabilities are consistent with metal and it is flame spread resistant, keeping your air ducts safe.
