Here is the drop in cold well from the counter, down under the counter, showing all the compressor below, and the refrigerated well above. Here’s the on/off switch, below the counter, and on, very simple, with light, and also the adjustment for refrigeration. Clockwise will raise the temperature, counterclockwise will drop the temperature. Switch on and off very simply. Note, on the side of the unit is also an explanation of how to adjust and here is the 24 hour service hotline at 1-800-733-2203. This is a view of the compressor area and this has to be kept clear of products, boxes, or storage to allow air to cool the unit and also it needs to be cleaned often. Here are the vents for keeping the unit cool and these need to be cleaned often also and cannot be blocked. The unit is supplied with a thermometer reading the well temperature and note coved corner, all stainless interior. Notice stainless steel with a deep well and it will hold two 1/3 pans, either plastic or metal, and it can also hold four 1/6 pans which is traditionally what’s used in this unit, and note the way we’re loading it. You’ll load the front right first, and then the back right to make sure that products and the containers don’t drop through and leak. Then you’d put the number three in the back and number four up front. That will make sure nothing falls through. And note that each of the covers and the 1/6 are supplied with the unit and it’s very simple for spoons to be in the service and closing the cover making sure that they’re accessible. Take it apart the same way, making sure that you pull the backs and the fronts in line, pulling the backs first, then the fronts, very simple so that you don’t drop product in. And lastly, the divider bar will come out. And cleaning, it’s very simple. Soap and water, that’s all it needs. The bar can go to the dishwasher along with the 1/6 pans and covers to be cleaned, and this is simply wiped out. Removing the thermometer will be very important for cleaning also so that you can clean behind it. Now the bar, clean, will go back in place and you’re ready to re-load the unit. And, you would go front and back, front and back on the load. Very simply handled. This has been the APW Wyott drop-in refrigerated food cold well.
