Effortlessly crush plastic and steel drums with this Vestil HDC-905-IDC/460V hydraulic drum crusher / compactor with 25" x 25" x 35 3/4" chamber and 38,000 lb. crushing force - 460V, 3 phase, 6.5 hp. This unit features a 25" x 25" x 35 3/4" interior chamber that holds (1) 55 gallon drum. With a powerful 6.5 hp motor and an impressive 38,000 lb. of crushing force, it easily crushes a single drum down to a height of 6" and returns to the starting position in a complete cycle time of 25 seconds. To catch residual liquid from crushed drums, the unit includes a 1 gallon aluminum drip pan and an 18 gallon oil reservoir.

When connected to a 3-phase power supply, this unit allows for the crushing of up to 250 drums per week, greatly increasing productivity. To increase visibility and ensure correct operation, the unit is equipped with an illuminated on/off switch. A safety interlock prevents motor operation when the door is open, while the double door latch ensures the door remains closed during cycles. Plus, an oversized emergency stop button allows you to immediately halt all machine activity if necessary.

This unit is designed for crushing drums with a ribbed exterior. It is not compatible for use with smooth-walled drums. The base of the unit has integrated fork pockets to allow for transportation by fork truck.
