Univex VS2000 Details
Quickly prep vegetables with this Univex vegetable slicer / shredder! This machine is built for high-volume use, making quick work of slicing and shredding lettuce, cabbage, potatoes, onions, and other vegetables. It comes with a VS9 vegetable slicer attachment, which consists of the anodized aluminum housing, "S" knife assembly, and hub and shaft. The included 5/16" shredder plate fits inside this attachment and is great for making coleslaw or breadcrumbs. This model can also drive any other accessory with a #12 PTO hub (sold separately).
This durable, heavy-duty unit has a powerful 1 hp motor to run attachments at a rate of 700 RPM. It is easy to use with an on / off rocker switch, and a removable operator key prevents unauthorized operation. The drive assembly uses a ribbed poly V-belt and a 2:5:1 reduction for increased torque. Plus, it is completely enclosed in a powder-coated 10-gauge stainless steel housing. A 115V electrical connection is required for operation.
