Each sauce pan features a plated steel handle riveted to an 17-gauge aluminum body which is marked with cup graduations and a beaded top edge. Since the handle is riveted on, it ensures a very rigid connection between handle and vessel, guaranteeing longevity even in a commercial kitchen.
A tapered sauce pan is ideal for cooking at lower temperatures for a longer time, because the smaller bottom diameter allows for less heat exposure. The flared sides of the pan also allows for good stirring action.

Firstly, I will be buying more of these. You can't wreck them. I found this out because one of our cooks, who we've nicknamed "Set it and forget it", essentially turned red sauce into molten lava on the stove and then let it eat flame until it turned to this unsettling black beast. I thought the pan was shot. It wasn't. It came off. Don't get me wrong, it took some elbow grease, but I've seen other pans bite the dust because of junk like that.

Heats up quickly, as expected. Very light weight. Only thing I don't enjoy is the handle: the edges are sharp. They're not sharp enough to cut you but, when the pot is full, it digs into your hand/skin. Not bad for a cheap pan but, that's my only beef with it.
I wanted a very lightweight pot, because of a wrist injury that made dishwashing a real pain. This is a very light pot. Just aluminum, no coating. It's fine for heating soups, leftovers. Take care not to scorch it and it will last.
I bought for uses like warming up a portion of sauce, melting butter, etc... where I really don't need to use one of my stainless sauce pans.

Great sauce pan, can be used in many things. The handle bar is pretty long, but do gets hot in some occasions. I also brought this in other sizes.
This is a solid pan for heating up sauces, but probably not for much else. It's pretty thin, so things would probably burn if you tried to saute in this pan.
I like how small it is great for making quick sauces - I would order a bigger one and I would also recommend this little one for small projects.

We mainly use it as a dipper. Tranfer finished soup to 16qt container with this dipper and it will make your life so much easier. Best deal you can find and Highly recommend it.
