Provide odor protecting technology to older Big Dipper units with this Thermaco Big Dipper MLEK-RET-22.5 51000 Series upgrade kit. This kit helps reduce foul odors caused by grease in your kitchen with its increased odor protection that's stronger that previous Big Dipper series. This kit includes a 51000 Series complete lid assembly, a high-performing foam gasket, a grease collector, and 2 stainless steel lids.

This upgrade kit is easy to install with no professional installation required. The rotating gear has a oleophilic / hydrophobic skimming wheel assembly for automatic grease and oil removal. It is also equipped with a flow control device, a field reversible motor assembly, and a self-regulating electric immersion heater that has a thermostatic control as well as a digital control for programmable operation.

With a stainless steel lid, this kit offers a durable design. The lid is also fully removable with magnetic lid tensioners and features quick release clamps. This kit is easy to clean with its polymer wiper blade unit and a separate gasketed removable grease and oils collection container with a carry handle and pouring spout. This kit fits Big Dipper 8000, 21000, 14000, and 40000 IS units 22 1/2" in length and units sized 75 GPM or smaller. This unit requires a 115V connection for operation, and the electric motor equipped with overload protection.
