Taylor 1476 2 7/8" Digital Compact Folding Probe Thermometer

Most of my broke immediately. Bad design

I’ve used these probes for years. However in the last 12 months I’ve had them last couple months before falling apart.

About a week of use the probe separated from the body. The starting temperature would read 200 degrees sometimes.

It is a great thermometer. Easy to read, and you can change fac quickly and easily. Quite accurate and does not need calibration. It has a construction that seems quite durable.

Excellent thermometer. Came in perfect condition and works great. This works better than my old trusty one that I swore I could never do without. I'm thinking about getting another one for my husband when he BBQ's.

These digital thermometers are excellent additions for any chef to carry around. They are so compact that you can easily fit them in your pocket, but they always work flawlessly. This digital thermometer has a very nice, easy to read screen that displays temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The probe folds away for storage, and it reads temperatures relatively quick for a thermometer in this price range.

The Taylor 1476 compact folding thermometer is a must-have for every kitchen. It's amazing fast and very accurate. I tend to break other thermometers where the probe is in a permanently fixed position. This is why I love the fact that the probe on this actually retracts, making it easier to store, which hopefully means it will last longer!

Easy to read, accurate and handy - fits in the knife roll pretty easily and good to have on hand. Also can hang from hooks in kitchen.

So far so good with this thermometer - it's accurate when tested against boiling water and ice water. The probe itself is very short, which might be a problem when making candy or frying, but the price is right.

Seems good. Ours doesn't get much use - it's mostly just there for "just in case" per the health inspector, since we don't use any ingredients we need to temp.
