I’ve used these probes for years. However in the last 12 months I’ve had them last couple months before falling apart.

About a week of use the probe separated from the body. The starting temperature would read 200 degrees sometimes.

The Taylor 1476 compact folding thermometer is a must-have for every kitchen. It's amazing fast and very accurate. I tend to break other thermometers where the probe is in a permanently fixed position. This is why I love the fact that the probe on this actually retracts, making it easier to store, which hopefully means it will last longer!
