How do I safely and thoroughly clean my Taylor thermometer?
Your Taylor thermometer is constructed of a durable stainless steel probe, and in some cases, a plastic head. When cleaning your thermometer, do not immerse it in water or use it in the dishwasher unless the description specifically states that it is waterproof and dishwasher safe. I’ve used these probes for years. However in the last 12 months I’ve had them last couple months before falling apart.

About a week of use the probe separated from the body. The starting temperature would read 200 degrees sometimes.

Fast acting digital thermometer you can count on to accurate provide temperatures quickly. Large numbers make reading a breeze. This is the only type we buy for our restaurant.

Excellent thermometer. Came in perfect condition and works great. This works better than my old trusty one that I swore I could never do without. I'm thinking about getting another one for my husband when he BBQ's.

The Taylor Digital Compact Folding Thermometer is one of the best things that we have bought from Webstaurant. It is extremely portable and always gives an accurate read on the temperature of various jams, doughs, sauces, and glazes that we produce in our bakery.

These digital thermometers are excellent additions for any chef to carry around. They are so compact that you can easily fit them in your pocket, but they always work flawlessly. We bought these specifically because of the Taylor name and the fact that they use a common battery size with many other things we use.

Highly recommend this digital thermometer. It's accurate and the best we've use compared to the other digital ones we've used. We use this for our meat, soups and also baked goods.

This digital thermometer has a very nice, easy to read screen that displays temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The probe folds away for storage, and it reads temperatures relatively quick for a thermometer in this price range.

The Taylor 1476 compact folding thermometer is a must-have for every kitchen. It's amazing fast and very accurate. I tend to break other thermometers where the probe is in a permanently fixed position. This is why I love the fact that the probe on this actually retracts, making it easier to store, which hopefully means it will last longer!

Easy to read, accurate and handy - fits in the knife roll pretty easily and good to have on hand. Also can hang from hooks in kitchen.

So far so good with this thermometer - it's accurate when tested against boiling water and ice water. The probe itself is very short, which might be a problem when making candy or frying, but the price is right.

Seems good. Ours doesn't get much use - it's mostly just there for "just in case" per the health inspector, since we don't use any ingredients we need to temp.
