This tape should be stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight, and should be used within 12 months of the shipment date. Before applying the tape, the surface to which it's being applied should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, and other contaminants.

Will this tape work on my floor?

This floor tape can be tested in an inconspicuous area before use. Ensure floors are prepared and any floor finishes are fully cured according to manufacturer instructions before applying the tape. Prior to 30 days, slowly remove the tape from the area to check the results.

Mark wood and other delicate hard surfaces with this Shurtape PE 100 Floormate 1 7/8" x 60 yards black temporary floor tape. This tape is designed to create temporary lines and boundaries on delicate hard floor surfaces, including properly prepared and cured wood floors and finishes. It can also be used on sheet vinyl, wood laminate, engineered hardwood, tile, marble, and granite floors. This temporary tape is also ideal for a variety of social distancing applications, including to block of no-walk, queueing areas at athletic clubs.

This floor tape features a durable and conformable modified polyethylene construction that does not tear or splinter. It is made with a low-strength, acrylic-based adhesive that allows for a 30-day, residue-free removal from surfaces. With a thickness of 4.6 mils and a tensile strength of 11 lb. per inch of width, this tape offers durability while still being easy to cut and apply. It has a 15 oz. per inch adhesion to stainless steel and elongation of 500%. Versatile for use in a variety of environments, this tape has a service temperature range from 32 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
