Made of die-cast aluminum, this wok features a high temperature exterior coating and a non-stick interior coating so your ingredients will not stick to the pan. To lessen preparation worry, it is safe for stove tops, gas, electric, steam, and oven use. Its stainless steel bottom plate includes iron, making it induction ready and therefore allowing it to heat quickly and evenly on ranges, hot plates, and induction style equipment.
Cook lo mein, stir fry, and other Asian-inspired dishes in this wok that includes a domed lid. The shape of this lid helps to trap in heat and humidity, helping the cooking process along. It can also be used to cover food when the food is not yet ready to be served. Two cast aluminum handles, one on each side, allow for ease of transportation throughout your venue.

How can I best maintain the non-stick qualities of this item?
To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil and wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin. Applying sprays on non-stick coatings can cause food to stick more readily than using a fat or oil. Sprays can leave a glue-like coating, often missed during the cleaning process, which will begin to build up and cause foods to stick. Additionally, metal utensils and abrasive cleaners should not be used with non-stick surfaces to prevent scratching and damaging the coated surface.
How is the top diameter measured in frying pans and woks, and how accurate is this measurement?
The top diameter is the measurement across the pan, from the interior of one side of the rim to the other. These measurements are approximate because many frying pans and woks have a curved upper rim, making precise measurement difficult. The standard naming convention uses top diameter, so while multiple brands may offer a 10" pan, there may be slight variations in size between each brand's 10" pan or wok.

The Tablecraft Caterware 3 Qt. Die-Cast Induction Read Wok with Lid is well made and elegant. It heats evenly and it looks beautiful. It doesn’t dent or rust easily and the price is excellent, I would purchase this again.

I wish this wok was heavier. It scooted around on the induction cooktop that I used it on. When I put the lid on the wok it vibrated at the 60 hz power frequency. Like I said, if it was heavier, it might not vibrate. The non stick coating was an old style Teflon coating. I expected a steel surface. That would be better than Teflon. I am not sure how Teflon will do at wok high temperatures that are normal for stir fryink. It's pretty, but plain high carbon steel would be pretty. I have seen plow disk Used as a cooking vessel that worked pretty good.
