This is a nice, quality shaker. The perforations are good fine-grated cheese. The 8oz size is small enough to fit in your hand, but big enough that you don't have to constantly fill it. It is glass, though, so I do get nervous using this in a food truck. I have to make sure it's secure when traveling since it can easily get broken.
