great maple flavor will be using this product regular. Would advise any one looking for flavoring to give this a try. Great in cakes as well as sweet potato casserole.

I had to come write a review because I was SO convinced by all the positive ones on here. If you are already using McCormick maple --- this is not the maple for you. I understand that this one is part natural/artificial while the McCormick is all artificial; but this stuff is so watered down, I don't know how anyone can feel like it tastes like maple. We used 1/3 of one bottle to get our frosting to taste somewhat maple like -- running to the store tonight to find whatever small bottles of McCormick before we need more for tomorrow. This stuff taste more like molasses then maple IMO.

This is the best maple flavoring that I have used! Some flavorings that I have used leave a fake aftertaste in your mouth, but this one tastes very natural. A little bit goes a long way as well.

The Shank's maple flavor extract is really good! I wasn't sure I would like it at first but it tastes like those old school syrups you'd have on pancakes at diners as a kid growing up. Really nostalgic flavor and is great in making simple syrups and also for baking. We've bought a couple of bottles at this point in time. We keep going through it!

I use this in my maple buttercream icing, also to make maple cream fondant for candy. It has a good natural flavor, I highly recommend it!

I bought this without realizing that it was partially artificial flavoring. I used it with good results before I noticed the word artificial on the package. It actually tastes exactly the same as the pure extract I was buying previously, but it is a lot cheaper, so I'll be sticking with this brand.

For a arterial maple flavor it is pretty good. I am happy with it. It has been really good in all my desserts especially my maple cakes.
