Shank's 4 fl. oz. Vanilla Bean Paste - 12/Case

I love the look of this, but I find the strength of alcohol-based vanilla extract to be greater than what's in this jar. I want to love it, but it's just not quite as intense as everyone is saying.

We really like this product in our creams and sauces where we want to show the bean flake -- at a reasonable price.

We buy this from Webstaurant instead of going through our local distributor or getting it in the store because it really is a superior product to other ones out there. Taste like real vanilla pods, and for that price it is really a great price, I sometimes get a weaker brand and mix it in !

This was my first time for using vanilla bean paste. Wow! Great flavor and adds a very smooth vanilla flavor to any item that vanilla is the featured flavor.

Now that vanilla is so expensive, I can’t find ground vanilla beans. This vanilla bean paste is my alternative. It give me the pure vanilla taste and the speckles I like to see in my cakes.

I've been using this to add the signature black flecks of vanilla bean to desserts. Wish there was more flavor though. I haven't bought vanilla bean paste from other brands before, but it uses xanthan gum to "thicken" the paste

Delicious, very good quality vanilla bean paste. Use it on roll cakes and other recipe that calls for vanilla. Wished they come in bigger size.
